Helga Dorner is lecturer at the Centre for Teaching and Learning, Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. She received her PhD in Educational Science. She teaches courses and seminars in the field of teaching and learning in higher education and socialization of academics. Her most recent research focuses on teaching innovations in higher education and academic professionalism in the 21st century.
Currently, together with respective CEU faculty members she is engaged in co-designing and researching collaborative higher education courses in the field of social sciences and humanities. She is the lead faculty of the CEU Intellectual Themes Initiative Project "Sound Relations: Transgressions, Disruptions, Transformations". She is also the Faculty Director of the CTL Mentoring Program of the Global Teaching Fellows.
